MOHALI COURT SENTENCES TWO ACCUSED WITH TEN YEARS IMPRISONMENT AND FINE UNDER NDPS ACT

Chandigarh 23 May : SAS Nagar court today sentenced two accused with ten years imprisonment and one lakh fine each after finding them guilty of selling narcotic drugs.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of vigilance bureau Punjab said a flying squad of the bureau on a specific information have conducted raids at the houses of accused Jodh Singh and Badal Singh residents of village Dhulkot, Sri Multsar Sahib district. During the searches the VB had found large number of narcotic drugs from their houses and both were arrested by the bureau under various sections of the NDPS act and 420 IPC.

he further added that the special court after finding them built guilty on the evidence of bureqau have sentenced both the accused with imprisonment and fine.
