TECHNICAL EDUCATION MINISTER CHANNI ALLOTS STATIONS TO NEWLY RECRUITED CIVIL ENGINEER LECTURERS
Chandigarh, April 16: Technical Education Minister, Punjab Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi today allotted the stations to the newly recruited civil engineer lecturers in the government polytechnic colleges. It is pertinent that in the technical education department 20 new civil engineering lecturers have been recruited who were called by the technical education minister to allot them available stations as per their choice in a transparent manner.
The Technical Education & Industrial Training Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi asked all the present newly recruited lecturers to give their choice as per the available seats in the government polytechnic colleges. The Minister said that all were allotted stations as per their choice to adjust all in the nearest institutes.
Congratulating the newly recruited lecturers the technical education minister appealed them to work with full dedication and honesty to bring better results. He said that the lecturers should adopt students personally to get better results. He said they should focus on providing quality education in the government institutes to restore the faith of people in the government institutes. He said that the students should also benefit from the government technical educational institutes as education is being provided to the students on very less fee as compared to the private institutes.
The Minister said that from the day he has took charge of the department he has focused to bring total transparency in the system as result all the newly recruited lecturers are being given stations of their choice as per the availability of seats. He said that this would be helpful in providing quality education to the students of the technical education institutes the lecturers do not have to travel faraway places and they would be able to devote more time for academic work.
